You might still remember me: I’m the little prince. I’m here to tell you that my heart is in a lot of pain after what happened in Paris and the tragic death of so many innocent people.
I’m also here to tell you, that while I deeply feel for their families, friends and the country as a whole, I am NOT Charlie.
These cartoons make my little heart cry, and when I sit alone on my tiny planet and look down on Earth, I wonder why these gifted and talented cartoonists don’t draw nicer things. Here on my planet we don’t have any religion, no countries or politicians. We have freedom of speech that is based on love and kindness: we only use words and images wisely, for they each carry energy and if poorly chosen are more destructive than any weapons you humans like to use.
Someone I dearly care about once said:
“One sees clearly only with the heart. What is essential is invisible to the eyes.”
I am NOT Charlie, I am Love.
Love doesn’t see a need to ridicule.
Love doesn’t need to offend anyone on purpose.
Love doesn’t need to repeatedly diminish other people’s beliefs, religion or sexual orientation. Freedom of speech, love and kindness can go very well together – don’t you all see that with freedom of speech comes a beautiful responsibility?
I urge you, dear ones, all of you, to choose your thoughts and words wisely, for they can grow into a magical oasis, resulting in beautiful speeches, inspirational books and stories. Stories that elevate the person who is reading them. Stories that can elevate an entire nation. Have I not done so in the past when you read my little story?
Isn’t it time to elevate together and to go through this pain together, hand in hand, without the need to ridicule one another?
Lots of love to you Earthlings, my heart is with you during this difficult time!
