But worrying doesn’t help us achieve anything, as it’s destructive. It’s about being in the future and never in the present moment.
Through lots of meditation and a few sessions under deep hypnosis over the last few years I came to realise a few things:
There are many experiences we came down on earth to learn. No one knows what their life purpose is. Some of you might have an idea about it. But rest assured that no one ever has only one major life purpose they came down here to fulfil. There are so many things we came here to learn and to teach. And as our souls evolve, so does our life purpose.
The one thing I deeply believe in and that is relevant to all of us is: be who you are. Every minute of every day. Some of us are still in the process of finding that out. Some of us already embarked on that journey. Some of us already have a fairly good idea…
Ask yourselves the question: who are you without your jobs, your hobbies. Who are you when your partners, families, friends are not around. Who are you when you don’t wear make-up? Who are you without clothes and even without a body?
This leads us to “enlightenment”. Do not fear this word, or think it is only a state very few can reach, for so many human beings are reaching their “enlightenment” phase in this lifetime. To be precise: more than ever before.
These people are not different to us in the sense that we don’t have to become a yogi, a Buddhist monk or think of Buddha to reach enlightenment. Think of enlightenment as self-realisation. What is self-realisation? It’s knowing who we are on every level. It’s knowing our very essence. That essence that makes us unique. Our uniqueness is what we came here to express in whichever way seems adequate to us. That’s the process of self-realisation: walking a path that is OUR path. A path that WE create for ourselves. It might not be an easy path as sometimes it will involve leaving the secure havens of a fixed employment or maybe even the save haven of marriage to move on. Fear not. Change is growth. Growth leads to self-realisation.
Self-realisation is the very pursuit of happiness. There is no happiness without us expressing our uniqueness. Every soul has a unique contributing factor to society, communities, families, sometimes even on a global level.
All I know and feel is that our earth needs our unique contributions now more than ever. And don’t worry about just starting off as a little light, a little contributor, thinking you are not making much of a change for you are. Your light will grow stronger the more you share your uniqueness and will inevitably attract others to do the same. Light attracts light, light makes darkness disappear. Light teaches others how to ignite their lights and how to keep it alight.
Concentrate on your own essence, your own unique flame, for no flame is the same. Have faith and walk your path. This is enlightenment: being who you are and walking your unique path.
